Lois Conner

One of my favorite modern photographers and an inspiration for me is Lois Conner. She did lots of work with a banquet camera. Born in New york she says her work is a reflection of culture. She works primarily with landscapes but they are far from the norm. "I want my photographs to describe my relationship to both tangible and the imagined, to fact and fiction"say says. Well, here goes nothing. First time blogger in the house. It's the first week of classes and for photo workshop we are to create blogs to share with our peers and the rest of the blogging community. First class went well and I'm excited to start work on slides and working with my new Holga camera. I can feel the hole burning in my pocket already. Pricey but well worth it. So heres to starting this and hoping the semester goes well!
